Today, I will tell fictional story about a young man. Let’s say his name is Jim.
Jim just came from a visit with his doctor.
Good old doc told him that if he does not make some lifestyle changes, he is in danger of some serious health issues.
So Jim decides that today’s the day. He will listen to the doctor’s advice. He will eat healthy and go to the gym.
Jim heads to the nearest grocery store. But he has never done “healthy shopping” before.
Shopping for Jim usually consists of food be can heat up quickly in the microwave and some diet soda.
He tries looking for healthy food options, but he is perplexed.
He says to himself…”Should i eat Kale? I heard that’s healthy right? But I’m no vegetarian.” So he moves on.
Maybe an all meat diet. Yea, Atkins right? But, wait, didn’t that guy die of have a heart? No way, that’s out.
So Jim browses the cereal aisle. But he is overwhelmed with slogans and sugary cereals.
By now Jim is fed up…and hungry. He gives up his quest for healthy eating and heads to McDonald’s for a nice easy drive-through dinner.
Does Jim’s story sound familiar? Have you ever walked into the supermarket and felt overwhelmed?
Sadly, it is the story I hear all the time from too many people.
The good news is that Life is Hard . Fighting is Easy. will be rolling out a brand new Nutrition program.
Yes, it will be a nutrition plan only. There are no workouts required (although it always helps to meet your goal).
This program will help you if you have no clue about nutrition like poor Jimor if you are already in an exercise program and just need some guidance.
This is not just some expensive points program that sells you on their meal plan (i.e. Weightwatchers).
The program includes a customized nutrition plan to help you meet your specific goals.
The program will be rolled out before Thanksgiving, 2016, so be on the lookout.
So, let’s not be like Jim. Together, we can work together to fight for your health goals.
